The 2nd Consortium Meeting of the SCOPE project has been held in Lodz (Poland), last 22nd -24th February 2016. The meeting has been a change to review all technical materials required for the SCOPE cohort study and to train the 20 investigators who will be in charge of recruiting and assessing the patients.
During these productive days, it has been held also the first meeting of the project Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) and Data and Ethics Management Board (DEMB). Attendees to the meeting include some of the most prominent experts in the area of chronic kidney disease and geriatrics: Prof. Chris Bula (University of Lausanne), Prof. Hermann Haller (University of Hannover), Prof. Kitty Jager (University of Amsterdam), Prof. Wim Van Beisan (University of Ghent) and Prof. Carmine Zoccali (CNR-IBIM).
Next project meeting will be held in 2017 in Graz (Austria).
